How long are your family sessions?

Every family is so different but they typically take 30 minutes to one hour depending on how the kids do. I know when I have gotten the shots that I need and the shots you are wanting. i never want to push your family or your kids past the time of "oh that was fun and easy!" iwant to be extremely efficient in the time that we have!



why do you no longer offer mini sessions?

 going forward in my business i have decided to no longer offer mini sessions unless its for a particular season like "fall minis" or "christmas minis".

i know the term "mini" attracts so many mamas because they say "i need a mini! my kids wont last much longer than that" i'm here to tell you mama that kids often do so much better during a regular session! here is why. we aernt anxiously rushing to make sure they do everything we want them to do in a 15 minute time period! kiddos can often sense pressure and a tense environment and i noticed that when i left a regular session the kids and parents had so much more fun than when we tried to rush through a mini session. regular sessions give me the chance to get to know your kids so i can get those genuine smiles and moments out of the whole family!



what if it rains!?

WE JUST RESCHEDULE! NO BIGGIE. I WILL BE IN TOUCH THE WEEK OF YOUR SESSION REGARDLESS AND IF THE WEATHER ISN'T LOOKING PROMISING WE WILL FIND A BETTER DAY.


I noticed you don't do alot of everyone looking and smiling christmas card kind of photos. do you do those?

absolutely! my style and feel is more authentic, organic photos of you interacting with your people. But i always make sure to include those photos that the grandmas will want to print out for their home type of photos :) 


What do we wear!?

i am happy to help with outfits and give my opinion! my session guide that I send out when you book with me will give you lots of tips on what to choose for your fam during a session! 



sooo... what do we do if my kids are a hot mess during the session?

we go with the flow! i am a mom myself and totally understand the frustration of a toddler not behaving during the times you want them to the most! ha! but the worst thing you can do during a session is be mad and upset with them. i dont expect kids to do everything perfectly during a session! there will be time for potty breaks, running around to get enery out, snacks (always good to bribe with snacks) playing in the grass.. all of the things!
i promise to work around it! kids are unpredictable and i want your session to be enjoyable so we will work around it! i have never left a session without getting images that have some type of magic in them! 



should i get my hair and makeup done?

mama, invest in yourself. if your budget allows for it i highly recommend getting your hair and makeup done. you will love your photos so much more if you're feeling confident and lookin like a babe in them! you will look like a babe regardless but i know for myself i always feel an extra lil pep in my step if i have my makeup done ;)

first off - yay!!! i'm honored and so so excited! as far as scheduling goes, my weekends are first come first serve. once those are filled up i schedule my sessions on weekday evenings. i do my best to schedule at the time you think your kiddos will do the best! I have learned to work with the lighting no matter what the time of day. 1-2 after sunrise or before sunset is the best lighting.  a $50 non refundable reservation retainer  is due at the time of booking and remainder is due the week of your session.
